It is hard to believe that even the singer of the at this time most succesful young band in the world, had been on a castingshow. Bill of Tokio Hotel. Meanwhile,Tokio Hotel are so famous they are getting compared to the Beatles and are even conquering america. No german band has ever had such a triumph in the USA before. If you want to be succesful you need more then just talent. Will, passion and ambition. Without ambition he would never have gotten anywhere. Ricky (martin) could not really dance. He used to look this clumbsy. Popstar, a dream profession with 2 faces. Being a star is a 24/7 job.
Bill: You have to really hold yourself back at first. You have to learn to handle it, because you don’t see your friends a lot, you just do a lot of things on the phone. Tom: you learn to use your time better. It becomes so much more valuable. In the schooltime you normally hang out together at night to eat bread/dinner and that is totally relaxed and such. And now you look extremely forward to those things. And you enjoy the time more, use it better.
By the way.. Love The most important thing to all popstars. Be nice to your fans. Fanlove is everything.
Tom: the chicks.. I just enjoy it. Georg: that is the reason we do this. Tom: right! for the chicks, the chicks! Georg: right, the young chicks.
In the past girls passed out in rows because of the New Kids on The Block, from Essen all the way to Korea. Now they collapse for Tokio Hotel Thousand of fans in between happiness and collective collapse.
Bill: We at first were really taken away by it. And totally impressed by what happened. We didn’t really know what happened at first and we were looking at everything with our mouths wide open.. But then at some point you realize what is going on and then you look back and think: awesome! (krass!) We have started a new life and experienced so many things.
